You can create automations that automatically send a message to contacts who are added to a list (or removed from it).
It's possible to create custom flows based on user behavior and interaction, which enhances conversion rates and engagement.
NOTE: You will need to have connected a data source that works with lists (such as Klaviyo, OptiMonk, ActiveCampaign, etc.)
To create this automation, follow these steps:
1. Select the Audience and Trigger
Audience: Can be the entire audience or just a segment
Activation Event: We must select the connector that sends us the event and the event name: ''Customer created/updated''
Add filter: Select "Contact added to lists" and choose the list name
Cancellation Event: This would be any event that, if it occurs, would prevent the message from being sent
In this example, we want to send the message whenever a contact is added to the list, so there is no cancellation event
However, if, for instance, we want to send a message X days after being added to the list, only if the customer hasn't made a purchase, the cancellation event would be 'Order Placed', since we will not send the message if the customer completes a purchase
2. Configure the Message:
Wait time: The time we wait from when the contact is added to the list until the message is sent
Sender and Message Text
Multilingual Message (optional)
3. Delivery Settings
Activation Limit: It's possible to send the message every time the contact is added to the list or set a maximum number of messages (for example, a maximum of one message per day)
Send or Do not send this automation if another has been received in the last X hours/days
Whether to send to unsubscribed contacts
The automation must be activated and saved.
Every time a contact is added to the list, the automated message will be sent.
