I want to import all my contacts, but differentiating those who do not want to receive commercial communications.
Your project has one Accepts Marketing attribute per channel type. It's used to keep track of the user acceptance to receive your marketing communications (in this article we will focus on SMS).
This attribute is useful when you want to import contacts that you already know they do not wish to receive commercial communications.
When connecting a data source, one of the fields must refer to whether the contact agrees to receive SMS. The value must be yes or no, and those who do not want to receive SMS must have the value NO.
If your data source does not contain this information, by default every contact will have the value set to UNKNOWN, as we cannot assume any marketing preference.
You can import unsubscribed users with this template: Unsubscribed users.csv
In the App, this attribute is shown as ''Accept SMS Marketing'', but if your field has a different name, you will be able to map it when connecting your data source.
If you want to send a marketing campaign and you have some data sources providing values for this attribute, you can mark this checkbox to exclude the mentioned contacts.
Additionally, the end user will have the possibility of opting-out in each campaign (via the unsubscribe URL).
