The maximum length of an SMS is 160 Latin characters (GSM).

If you want to include Unicode characters (accents, emojis, Chinese or Arabic letters, etc ...) the length of the SMS is reduced to 70 characters. When preparing your campaign, you have a total SMS counter (next to the text box in campaign preparation).

If the character limit of an SMS message is exceeded, a second message will be charged for, although the message will reach the recipient as a single block.

We also recommend checking the local regulations of the country to which you are sending your SMS campaign.

Therefore, it is always advisable to send a few test messages to your own number before sending a bulk campaign, and/or contact our Support team.
