👉 Trigger
Trigger: Active on site / App
Filtro: No. It's best to send the message to everyone.
Delay: 1 hour after the trigger.
Condición: The customer hasn’t purchased.
⚙️ General Configuration of the Flow
Audience: can be the entire audience or just a specific segment.
Trigger event: select the connector that sends the event and specify the event name: Klaviyo > Active on site / App.
Cancellation event: this is the event that, if it occurs, will prevent the message from being sent. In this case, we’ll use Order created, since the SMS will only be sent if the customer has not performed a relevant action.
📨 Configure the message
Waiting time: this is the period we’ll wait from the moment the contact is added to the list until the message is sent. In this case, we’ll set it to 1 hour.
Sender and message content: include a link to your website so that the customer can easily return and interact with your site again.
⚙️ Delivery Settings
Activation limit: In this case, we want the message to be sent once per month.
Do not send messages if another automation was sent within the last 2 hours.
If the customer viewed the product and also added it to the cart, they will receive the abandoned cart automation.
This way, if they have received any automation in the past 2 hours, we won’t send this message.
📲 Estructura recomendada del flujo
Time | Objective | Message example |
1 hour minutes after the trigger. | Reconnect with cold audiences and increase return visits. | “Hi NAME 👋 we noticed you were browsing our website but didn’t quite make up your mind. We’ve got something you might like 😏 →LINK ” |
Finally, save the automation and decide whether to enable the “activate” button so it can start running right away.
