How to upload my contacts by copy-pasting.

This import method consist of copying the information from your file and pasting the values.

If you only have phone numbers, you can paste them as they are in the corresponding column in your file. Keep in mind the format of international phone numbers

Let's see one example:

If your file has more columns (name, country, etc...), headers will be requiered. We recommend you to import more columns, in order to be able to send customized campaigns that include contact information in the message, such as their name.

You can copy&paste the columns directly from your Excel file:

Or you can save the file in .CSV and copy&paste the data separated by commas, including headers:

The next steps of the importation are:

1. Upload

The most important thing will be to choose the default country of the contacts so that the platform adds the telephone prefix automatically. If not, again keep in mind the format of international phone numbers

If the phone numbers are British, select UK as the default country in order for the app to accept the maximum number of data. If there are numbers from other countries, they should either have the country prefix or you will need to import them separately, selecting the respective country.

Choose the columns you want to import and name them.

Used to uniquely identify each row of your file. This will allow you to update your contacts or add more in the future.

Choose the value(s) that, when they match across your different data sources, will identify that the contact is the same, and all their information will be merged.

5. Tags

You can add tags to easily identify these new contacts.

Also note that your import can be updated later. That is, if you have new contacts or want to delete some, you do not need to connect a new complementary data source, but can work on the one that you already have available.
