How to Authorize Alias Registration with the CNMC

Written by Alba B

IMPORTANT: Once the application has been submitted to the CNMC, the company’s legal representative will receive a notification and must authorize the registration.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Open the notification received

The company’s legal representative must access the notification received from the CNMC and review its details.

  2. Access the CNMC's electronic office

The legal representative must sign in using the same Cl@ve account or electronic certificate used to access the notification.

  3. Applicant
Select “On my own behalf” (En nombre propio), as you are acting as the company’s legal representative.

  4. Application type

Select: “Alias authorization” (Autorización de alias).

  5. Authorize pending aliases.

Review the aliases included in the application and select “Authorize” (Autorizar).

Under “Legitimate link” (Vinculación legítima), select the option that explains how the alias is linked to your brand.

In “Specify which one” (Especificar cuál es), you can add a short explanation providing further details about that link.

Confirm the authorization by clicking “Review and submit” (Revisar y presentar).

Once these steps are completed, your aliases will be properly authorized and you can continue using them normally.
