How to schedule a campaign based on the local time of each contact

This advanced feature allows you to send messages based on the local time of each contact (if you don't have this data, the 'Country' value is used), instead of sending a single global campaign at a specific fixed time.

This means that if you schedule a campaign for 9 in the morning, it will be delivered at 9 in the morning (local time) for each of your contacts, maximizing engagement and impact.

You can use this feature from the Delivery settings when creating an SMS campaign.

Some aspects to consider include:

  • If your contacts don't have the 'Timezone' attribute in the correct format, the 'Country' value will be used to set the delivery time.

  • If the 'Country' value is used, and the country has multiple time zones, the App chooses the intermediate time zone (e.g., for the USA, it considers Chicago's timezone).

  • Messages from each time zone are sent within 30 minutes.

  • It's not possible to conduct A/B testing when time zone-based delivery is enabled.

  • If set up less than 24 hours before sending, countries where the local time has already passed will be removed without charge.

  • The campaign will have the 'Sending' status until the messages from the last time zone are sent.
