Once you have created your SMS campaign, you may be wondering "when should I send it?".
Unlike email, studies show that over 90% of SMS campaigns will be read within the first 5 minutes. Keep this in mind when scheduling your campaign, depending on your audience and your goal.
For example, if your SMS campaign is to invite contacts to an event, it's best to send the SMS with enough advance notice. However, if you have an online store and you want to communicate a product launch or a new offer, it doesn't make sense to send the SMS several days in advance, but a few hours before, or even at the same moment.
You can also configure the sending speed of your campaign. That is, you can send your campaign as quickly as possible or space out the delivery over a specific time interval. This can be very useful if, for example, you want clicks and website visits to occur in a controlled manner.
